World Championship horse makes comeback, scoring 8.00 at the Swedish Championship

Today is the last day of preliminary competitions at the ongoing Swedish Championship, with B-finals starting later today. So far there have been some ups and downs with the weather, with heavy rain at the beginning of the week and more expected to come.

Leading T1 with nearly 1 point

Jamila Berg Dibi and the horse Toppur frá Auðsholtshjáleiga made a huge comeback in the T1 preliminaries yesterday scoring way over the rest of the starting field. After an unfortunate injury at the WC 2023 the stallion has had over a year off from competitions in order to heal and has just recently been seen on the track again.

Now it seems that the stallion is back in his former shape scoring 8.00 in T1 and taking the lead into the final this Sunday. Followed by James Faulkner with Hálfmáni frá Stiensholti and Clara Ingmyr with Froði från Nybygget both scoring 7.30 so far.

1 Jamila Berg Dibi & Toppur frá Auðsholtshjáleiga 8.00

2 James Faulkner & Hálfmáni frá Steinsholti 7.30

2 Clara Ingmyr & Froði från Nybygget 7.30

4 Katie Sundin Brumpton & Salvar frá Klukku 7.13

5 Emil Sundström & Vísir från Tavelsjö 7.10

(B-final)

6 Jenny Göransson & Ágústínus frá Jaðri 7.00

8 Camilla Rolfsdotter & Álfur från Granmyra 6.93
