The Swedish Sport Championship begins next week! The 5-day event starts on Wednesday the 25th of June and continues until Sunday the 29th of June. The competition is held at Romme, Borlänge, located in the midwest of Sweden and features the sport disciplines: T1, T2, V1, F1, PP1, P1, P2 and P3. The event will be live-streamed by Alendis!
World class riders and horses
The starting list offers everything from reigning world champions and landsmót finalists to new stars. Gljatóppur frá Miðhrauni, Óríon frá Strandarhöfði, Vogur från Fors gård, Ljúfa från Ekeholm, Fengur från Backome, Hrafnaklettur frá Álfhólum, Oddi från Skeppargården, Óðinn from Inchree, Roði fra Garði, Froði från Nybygget and Hálfmáni frá Steinsholti to name a few.
The popular breeding-show segment continues
The Swedish Breeding Championship was incorporated into the Swedish Championship for the first time in 2023 and was met with a lot of positive feedback. Here the three highest judged horses in Sweden from each age group get to compete for the gold. The horses are shown together on a breedingtrack and get a chance of raising some of their previous ridden assessment scores. The one with the total highest assessment then wins in each category.
